United Cooperative Purchases Auroraville Grain Facility

Beaver Dam, WI-based United Cooperative, the No. 34-ranked retailer in our annual CropLife 100, has purchased a new grain-storage facility in Auroraville, WI, from Willow Creek Grain, LLC, Berlin, WI. The company is accepting corn, soybeans and wheat, starting immediately.

Located at the southwest corner of state roads 21 and 49, the Auroraville facility features 1.25 million bushels of grain storage, 26,000 bushels per hour of receiving capacity, 1,000- and 500-bushel unloading pits, and a 4,000-bushel-per-hour grain dryer.

With more than 40 years of experience in grain procurement and origination, David Olsen, from Berlin, is managing the Auroraville location. Jerry Ewald will lead outside operations, and Holly Putskey will coordinate administrative duties.
