The Andersons Expands Dispersible Granule Portfolio

The Andersons, Inc. Turf & Specialty Group has announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 8,435,321, which relates to its dispersing granule technology. The ‘321 patent raises The Andersons dispersing granule portfolio to 9 issued patents.

The Andersons is committed to adding to its portfolio products designed to deliver nutrients and pest control chemicals directly into the soil. Upon contact with water each granule disperses into thousands of micro particles that move directly into the root zone. The dispersible granule is designed to eliminate problems with run-off and mechanical pick up, which decreases loss of efficiency.
