Jimmy Sanders Acquires Arkansas County Co-op

Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings, LLC, through its subsidiary Jimmy Sanders Inc., has acquired certain assets from Arkansas County Co-operative located in Stuttgart, AR. Specifically, Sanders acquired the agricultural input retail assets associated with Arkansas County Co-op.

Arkansas County Co-op, founded in 1953 by a group of local farmers in Almyra, AR, will continue to operate the fuel and farming hardware portions of their business. Chuck Freemyer, manager of Arkansas County Co-op said, “We are excited about the partnership with Sanders and look forward to working together to meet the needs of area growers.”

“Sanders is very pleased with the recent acquisition of this long-established, respected business and we are confident that the farmers it served so well will experience a smooth transition,” said Jack Coleman, Area Operations Manager for Sanders.

The new Sanders retail locations will be managed by Jim Grantham and will be located in Almyra and DeWitt, AR.
