CHS Names New Regional Crop Nutrients Director
April 12, 2010 CHS Inc., an energy, grains, and foods company, has named Loran Thom northwest regional director, Crop Nutrients, Lemmon, SD.
“CHS Crop Nutrients customers in our northwestern region will benefit from Loran’s 27 years of experience in agribusiness management,” says Cheryl Schmura, vice president, Crop Nutrients. “He understands dealer and grower needs and has a strong customer focus.”
Prior to joining CHS Crop Nutrients, Thom was location and sales manager for Dakota Farm Equipment, a John Deere dealership, Lemmon, SD. He has also held numerous agribusiness sales and management positions.
Thom will be responsible for managing crop nutrients sales, operations, and profitability for the northwest region, including: northern Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, eastern Idaho, and northern and western Wyoming.
