What We Designed

We designed and constructed an 18,000 ton dry bulk blending building. The warehouse has several large clear span bins as well as micro bins to allow for a variety of micronutrients to be stored. The loader alleyway has a centrally located in-floor reclaim hopper system that greatly reduces loader run times. The two hopper system efficiently feeds a 250 TPH blending tower to keep truck traffic flowing smoothly. A second floor control room was incorporated into the design which allows the operator to oversee the loading/unloading as well operate the material handling and automation system. The fully integrated automation blend system ensures that each customer gets their specific blend requirements and that the corresponding inventory and invoice is processed to CHS’ main office immediately.
