CTIC Tour Showcases Indiana Efforts

The Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) is holding its Conservation in Action Tour in Indiana in July.

Sponsored by Specialty Fertilizer Products (SFP), the tour will take place in and around central Indiana on July 17. Stops include farms in Brownsburg, Lebanon, Frankfort, Arcadia, and Atlanta. At each location, growers will showcase their conservation practices and answer questions.

For the second year, CTIC has organized a day-long tour to showcase successful growers who have mastered innovative conservation practices in their profitable operations. Various aspects of conservation agriculture will be highlighted, including decades of continuous no-till, strip till, meeting the demand for corn, managing rising input costs, improving manure nutrient control through water and feed rations, tile ditch drainage, and more.
