A Real Feast

Traveling from Gaudalajara To Puerto Vallarta gave us a great opportunity to visit and see the countryside. This was about a 200- to 300-mile trip, with never a dull moment. This adventure also gave us a chance to eat many different types of Mexican food. WOW, this is real Mexican food! We attempted to try something different each day … and we did. What a feast!

Puerto Vallarta was a wonderful place to unwind toward the end of our trip and just catch some sun and relax. We were not on any schedule, which made it nice to sight-see and visit with other people. In Mexico, one of the most common asked questions to us was, “Do you have a job?” The Mexican people were very concerned that we are keeping our people employed so we, in turn, can keep coming back to Mexico, since this is their number one source of income. Again, this was very interesting, and we always take things for granted. It is amazing how just one person can make a difference in this huge world.

I would highly encourage all dealers to take interest in this program. It truly is a way to be rewarded and to see how the rest of the world looks up to our farmers. Every country has something to offer in the way of food. This just proves how important our food is and how many of us take it for granted.

Thoughts to take home with us are the pride, the professionalism, and the opportunities these dealers take in their work. We need to concentrate more on our needs instead of our wants.
