Recent job changes include these at Wyffels Hybrids, Arysta LifeScience, Makhteshim Agan of North America, Inc. (MANA) and Valent U.S.A. Corp.
Wyffels Hybrids, headquartered in Geneseo, IL, has appointed three new sales managers. John V. Myers of Stonington, IL, will oversee southeastern Illinois; Dru Weidner of Davenport, IA, will be responsible for eastern Iowa; and Matt Conlon of Spencer, IA, will manage western Iowa.
Kevin Smith, a 26-year veteran in international business, has joined Arysta LifeScience Corporation as chief operating officer of the company’s European business unit, including the EU27 and East Europe. Prior to Smith’s appointment, Andy Jones served as the Arysta LifeScience COO of the European business unit. Jones has assumed the new role of global head of marketing.
MANA has hired Dr. Duane A. Martin as its new business and product development manager. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the crop protection industry, most recently worked as the senior brand manager of herbicides with Syngenta and prior to that at BASF and American Cyanamid. The company also has recently hired two area business managers. Tim Ford, a 20-year industry veteran who most recently worked for AMVAC Chemical Corp., will serve in Louisiana and Mississippi, while Brent Cranfill, formerly with Bayer, Monsanto, BASF, Wilbur-Ellis, Helena Chemical and president of Ag Consulting, Inc., will cover west Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and southern Colorado.
Kevin Hammill has been promoted by Valent U.S.A. Corp. from senior director of marketing to vice president of business operations.
