Ray Vallejo has been named vice president of planning for Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA). The announcement was made by Albert Zahalka, TPA president.
Vallejo has extensive experience with precision agriculture technology, developing and leading all areas of operations and manufacturing to meet growth and financial objectives.
Vallejo most recently served as executive vice president of Novariant, Inc., successfully contributing to the growth of the GPS machine control and wireless services company, providing solutions for the agriculture and mining industries. He was heavily involved with the AutoFarm division of Novariant, in both the operations and manufacturing of its line of precision agriculture products.
Zahalka said, “With his background as a leader in the industry, involved in everything from new product introductions to manufacturing strategies to development of strategic OEM, partner and service agreements, Ray will be an outstanding addition to the TPA team as we continue our growth as a global provider of precision farming solutions.”
On joining the company, Vallejo said, “With the rapid growth of TPA’s business, it is an exciting time to join the company. Vallejo will be based in Livermore, CA.
