Driving east along Interstate 90 from South Dakota to Wisconsin, onlookers will notice a truly impressive sight near the city of Jackson, MN — a sprawling industrial complex that is the heart of AGCO’s Corp.’s extensive product line-up. Across this multi-acre site, visitors will see Ag-Chem and Spra-Coupe self-propelled sprayers being assembled, Challenger tractors being prepared for shipping, and various ride-and-drive areas for product testing.
“This facility is state-of-art when it comes to putting together the brands that our customers have come to trust and rely on to do their jobs well,” says William Kaltenberg, direction of operations for AGCO in Jackson.
This past fall, CropLife IRON Editor Eric Sfiligoj and Senior Account Manager Dan Bellanger had the opportunity to take a tour of this massive complex, getting to see first-hand how some of AGCO’s most important products are made and tested. — The Editors
