Wilbur-Ellis Co. has acquired the assets of Chester Farm Service Corp. Located in Chester, SD, Chester Farm Service has been providing seed, seed treatment, fertilizer, plant protection and custom application services to local farmers for over 40 years.

The acquisition fits strategically with Wilbur-Ellis’ existing business in South Dakota, and it aligns with the company’s growth objectives. The Chester location will allow Wilbur-Ellis to expand sales in fertilizer, plant protection, and other Wilbur-Ellis branded products to the area. The location will also be supported by Wilbur-Ellis’ Huron, SD, aerial application business.
