“Scot was a highly respected seed manager for Hintzsche for almost 15 years,” said David Hintzsche, president of Hintzsche Companies. “He took a brand new product line to great heights in a short amount of time, and his contributions to the company will never be forgotten. Those of us who worked with ‘Sparky’ over the years saw how much satisfaction he received from his life’s work. Scot had a passion for serving and delighting customers and an insight into what made them tick like no one I have ever worked with. He will be missed and will expect us to carry on and improve many of the things he started here.”

Scot had a lengthy 17-year struggle with liver and kidney issues. He and his family wanted him to have one more chance at a normal, healthy life. His 3rd and last transplant was on February 29 at UIC Medical Center. Scot’s family is so appreciative of the surgeons, nurses and support staff that have taken such great care of him. They have made this struggle easier for him and his entire family. Scot and his family will be forever grateful to the families of the anonymous donors who gave him a chance at a healthy life. Even though Scot left this life too early, he leaves us with a legacy in lessons of resilience, perseverance and strength. He will be forever missed and loved by his family and friends. Through the years, he never gave up, but in the end, he went peacefully with his family by his side.
