GROWMARK Executive Committee Announced

John Reifsteck, Champaign, IL, was elected chairman of the GROWMARK Board of Directors. He replaces Dan Kelley, Normal, IL, who retired. Reifsteck has served on the GROWMARK Board since 1993, and was one of two vice chairmen. He and his wife, Nancy, operate a corn and soybean farm in western Champaign County.

The GROWMARK Board also elected members of the executive committee — two vice chairmen and the Secretary.

Rick Nelson of Paxton, IL, has served on the GROWMARK Board since 1990, and has served as one of two vice chairmen since 2004. He and his wife, Pat, operate a 2,100 acre cash grain farm. He is also president of the Ludlow Cooperative Elevator Board.

Bob Phelps, Rockton, IL, was elected Secretary. He has served on the GROWMARK Board since 1997. He and his wife, Amy, operate a 2,200-acre family farm partnership as well as a 300-head beef feedlot.
