CHS Inc., a leading energy, grains and foods company, has named Jeff Greseth Vice President, Ag Business-North America, Crop Nutrients Supply and Trading.
Greseth will report to Brian Schouvieller, CHS senior vice president, Ag Business-North America, and will be responsible for domestic and international procurement, risk management, trading and logistics.
“CHS relies on offshore sources for much of the urea it distributes, and we recently announced several additional supply strategies to extend our supply chain reach and fuel growth,” says Schouvieller. “Going forward, Jeff and his team will manage the critical tasks of ensuring supply, along with strong risk management capabilities and efficient supply chain operations.”
Greseth joined the cooperative system in 1979, working at a local cooperative. He’s held numerous sales, distribution and marketing roles, including serving as president of Omnium, a crop protection chemical manufacturing business at St. Joseph, MO.
Cheryl Schmura, vice president, Crop Nutrients, will continue to manage all crop nutrients sales, marketing, business development activities and administration.
