In 2012, Brandt is leading an initiative to put an “all agriculture” car on the track, helping to spotlight the hard work and dedication that powers agriculture into a crucial global industry. FFA, an organization which develops premier leaders and prepares students for career success in agriculture, joins Trademark Nitrogen and Precision Tank & Equipment on the No. 31 Ag car.

Brandt President and CEO Rick C. Brandt is excited to have FFA as part of the team.

“At Brandt, we are deeply committed to the future of agriculture and I am thrilled to have such an iconic, like-minded organization join our team for the 2012 season,” said Brandt. “Simply put, through its long history the FFA has shaped the future of agriculture: They transform students into industry leaders.”

“Agriculture feeds and fuels the world,” continued Brandt. “But unless you’re in the industry, you don’t know how critical agriculture is to the world economy and you don’t know how important it is to all of us that our Ag businesses continue to grow. We hope to change that through the Ag car and terrific partners like FFA.”

In addition to supporting students, part of the FFA Organization’s mission is to reconnect with past student members who may want to be involved again through the National FFA Foundation’s FFA CONNECT program.

“As a former FFA member, I understand the issue of reinvigorating past members,” said Brandt. “If we can raise awareness of the contributions that FFA makes to agriculture and re-engage even one past member, we’ll have done good work with the Ag car.”

National FFA Organization COO Bill Fleet said, “The National FFA Organization is excited to partner with Brandt, Trademark Nitrogen and Precision Tank & Equipment on behalf of the No. 31 Ag car. It is our hope that this combined effort will raise awareness of the vital role the industry of agriculture has in the global economy. We support the Brandt racing alliance’s goal of helping America maintain the economic viability of farm operations to ensure people have access to nutritional food and clean drinking water.”
