Use:
First used in France as a spray for control of downy mildew on grapes. For use on vegetables, tree fruits, nuts. Acts as a repellent against many insects; an emulsifier in dormant oil sprays. A 4-4-50 mixture contains 4 lb. each hydrated lime and copper sulfate in 50 gal. of water. Poisoned Bordeaux has been prepared by adding 2-4 lb. of lead arsenate to a 6-10-100 mixture.
