Properties: Pure: White crystal; melting point 142°-143°C. Tech: Brown-yellowish or dark brownish liquid, unpleasant odor, easily absorbs moisture. Soluble in hot ethanol (95%), insoluble in benzene, acetone ether, etc. Stable at normal temperature, easily hydrolyzes in strong alkaline solution.
