Properties: White solid. Melting point 44.6°C. Soluble at 21°C: acetone, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, hexane, toluene (all >500 g/l); methanol 263 g/l.

Hazards: Fish: Highly toxic, LC50 (96 h) 60 ng/l (rainbow trout), 130 ng/l (bluegill sunfish). Bird: Oral LD50 4190 mg/kg (mallard duck), 730 mg/kg (bobwhite quail). Bee: Oral LD50 280 ng/bee (contact), 1880 ng/bee (oral)
Water Solubility: Low, 0.02 mg/l at 20°C (pure pH 5, buffered pH 9)
