  • Herbicide
Use: A selective, preemergence herbicide that should be soil incorporated. Preplant incorporated for dry beans and peas, soybeans, sunflowers, peanuts. Curbit* and Strategy* for cucurbits.

Common Name(s): Ethalfluralin (ANSI, BSI, ISOE, WSSA); ; Éthalfluraline (ISOF)
Chemistry
Class: Dinitroaniline.
Properties: Pure ethalfluralin is a yellow crystalline solid which melts at 57°-59°C. Vapor pressure at 25°C is 8.2 x 10-5 mm Hg. Readily soluble in organic solvents (acetone, acetonitrile, benzene, chloroform, methanol, methylene chloride, xylene).
