  • Fungicide
Use: For control of Oomycete diseases in ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, etc. Seed treatment for Aphanomyces, Phytophthora, and Pythium in sugar beets, etc. Banol*, Prevex* for control of Pythium blight on turf. Previcur* Flex for use on cucurbits, lettuce, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes.

Chemistry
Properties: Colorless crystals, very hygroscopic. Melting point 64.2°C. Slightly corrosive to metals. Slightly aromatic. Soluble in methanol >500 g/l; isopropanol >300 g/l; ethyl acetate 4.5 g/l; hexane <0.1 g/l; toluene <0.1 g/l (20°C).
