Use: A selective preemergence herbicide for annual grasses, broadleaf weeds in bearing and nonbearing fruit trees, nut trees, vineyards, established bermudagrass turf, and established ornamentals.

Chemistry
Class: Dinitroaniline.
Properties: Pure: yellow-orange crystalline solid. Melting point 141-142°C. Vapor pressure is 1 x 10-7 mm Hg at 25°C. Surflan* A.S.: Bright orange opaque liquid; slight aromatic odor. Soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ethanol, methanol, acetonitrole; slightly soluble in benzene, xylene; insoluble in hexane.
