  • Herbicide
Use: Preemergence and preplant incorporated weed control in corn, cotton, grain sorghum (seed treated with safener), peanuts, pod crops, potatoes, safflower, soybeans, and woody ornamentals. The addition of Benoxacor increases tolerance in corn.

Chemistry
Class: Chloracetanilide.
Properties: Odorless white to tan liquid, boiling point 100°C at 0.001 mm/Hg. Miscible with most organic solvents.

Toxicity: Tech (Rat): Oral LD50 2534 mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 (4 h) >1.75 mg/l. (Rabbit): Dermal LD50 >10,000 mg/kg. Non-irritating to eyes, mildly irritating to skin
Handling/storage Cautions: Store above -30°F
Spill Control/cleanup: Large spillages should be dammed-off and pumped into containers; soak up remainder with absorbent material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations
Product/waste Disposal: Must be disposed of by special means, e.g., suitable incineration, in accordance with local regulations
