Use: Controls vegetative growth; affects boll retention, maturity, yield in cotton; improves berry set on wine and Concord grapes.

Chemistry

Properties: Solid, white/gray. Melting point approx. 223�C. Soluble in ethanol, moderately soluble in acetone and chloroform; sparingly soluble in benzene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate, ether.
