Action/Use:
  • Herbicide
Use: A substituted urea applied pre- and postemergence as a selective herbicide; foliar- and root-absorbed. Soil residual life shorter than other urea herbicides. For control in asparagus, carrots, celery (posttransplant), corn, cotton, parsnips, potatoes, sorghum, soybeans, wheat (Pacific Northwest), and for short-term control of annual weeds in noncrop areas such as roadsides and fence rows.

Properties: Fine flakes or coarse powder. Melting range 86-91°C. Slight solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons, moderate in ethanol and common aromatic solvents.
