  • Herbicide
Use: A selective, thiocarbamate herbicide applied preplant and soil incorporated. Must be incorporated immediately after application due to volatility. Absorbed by the shoots of emerging weed seedlings. For annual grasses, perennial weeds, broadleaf weeds in beans, forage legumes, potatoes; corn, sweet potatoes in some areas.

Chemistry
Properties: Pale-dark yellow liquid, aromatic odor characteristic to thiocarbamates. Boiling point 127°C at 27 mbar. Vapor pressure: 4.7 mbar at 25°. Density: 0.9546 at 30°C. Stable under normal storage conditions. Hydrolyzed by warm strong acids. Miscible with common organic solvents.
