Products can be classified into one of two types:
1. protectants effective on the surface of the seed, or
2. systemics which are absorbed into the emerging seedling and protects against insects and diseases.

Use: Controls black scurf, brown patch, fairy ring, gray snow mold, limb and pod rot complex (Rhizoctonia spp.), red thread, sheath blight, white mold (Sclerotium rolfsii). Convoy* for peanuts and rice; Moncut* for potatoes; ProStar* for turf and ornamentals. Artisan* controls white mold, limb and pod rot, leaf spot in peanuts; MonCoat* MZ is a seed piece treatment for potatoes to control black scurf and Rhizoctonia.
