SFP Promotes Vice President Of Business Relations

SFP has promoted Michael Berry to a newly developed position as vice president of business relations. Berry is now responsible for communicating with distributors, both domestic and international, developing growth opportunities for SFP’s current product portfolio, as well as formulating market strategy. He also will focus on establishing markets for new technology, as well as expanding current U.S. and international market segments.

“Michael’s agricultural knowledge and leadership will play a fundamental role in the success of SFP moving forward,” says Jake Sanders, SFP executive vice president. “His ability to work closely with distributors along with his market insight will be a significant component of propelling the company towards greater sales growth.”

Recently, Berry served as director of marketing, where he planned, developed and implemented the organization’s internal and external marketing, communications and public relations strategies on a national and international scale. He also worked as brand manager for the company’s current product portfolio.

Before joining SFP, Berry was a senior account executive at OsbornBarr, where he acted as a client liaison for SFP, AgraQuest and Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
