SFP In ‘Fast’ Company

Inc. ranked SFP No. 450 in its annual list of “500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.” The magazine also ranked SFP, a 10-year-old manufacturer of fertilizer enhancers, as No. 8 in its list of 100 fastest-growing manufacturing U.S. companies. This is the first year that SFP has been named on the list, which Inc. annually releases in August.

With a 20-person staff, SFP produced a 700.5% sales increase from 2004 through 2007. Boosting its growth was the launch of its NutriSphere-N Nitrogen Fertilizer Manager.

“As a fast growing agricultural research, development, and manufacturing company, the larger facility will allow us to continue to expand and explore additional technologies while better serving a growing customer base,” says Jake Sanders, vice president of market development, SFP. “This move signifies our dedication to providing growers with advanced solutions to help increase crop yield and return on investment.”

Founded in 1998, SFP has devoted a decade to solving agriculture’s long-standing fertilizer challenges. It has two products on the market: AVAIL, a phosphorus fertilizer enhancer and NutriSphere-N, a nitrogen fertilizer manager, both developed to enable growers to increase the efficiency of their fertilizer.
