Becker Underwood Expands Research Team

Consumer expectations for strong research trials in support of agricultural products led Becker Underwood to expand their research team with the addition of Jesse Deardorff as field development specialist.

Deardorff will design and carry out field efficacy trials of advanced BioStacked seed enhancement products and assist with field trials of new product concepts.

“Jesse will have the responsibility of working with the rest of the research and development team on our advanced BioStacked products,” said Seevers. “He will be working with our field trial collaborators to evaluate these products and will also work with potential customers for these products to ensure they have the necessary materials for evaluation in their own trials. This is a key part of our product development process, and Jesse’s background and previous experience will serve him well in this position. We are looking forward to his contributions to Becker Underwood and to our R and D team.”

Deardorff will provide data from field trials to Becker Underwood’s marketing and sales teams to support marketing efforts for products to potential customers. He will also respond to requests from researchers for products used in their projects.

Prior to joining Becker Underwood, Deardorff worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. in Johnston, IA.

Deardorff will be based in Becker Underwood’s Ames, IA, offices.
