Mix Tank 2.0 allows applicators to quickly create, save and share spray logs with GPS location information and integrated weather data.  New spray logs feature a stopwatch to record start and stop times, as well as total spraying time.  Applicators also will receive alerts to remind them their stopwatch is running.  Spray details, including location, time sprayed and weather data, which is captured at the start of spraying, are integrated into the new spray logs for easy sharing and recordkeeping.  A new notes section is also included in the spray log.  Weather integration is available for a one-time cost of $5.99.

“By introducing an Android version, we’ve made Mix Tank 2.0 available to a wider audience in the agricultural community.  This was the number one request made by applicators this past year,” said Jim Reiss, vice president of agricultural chemistries at Precision Laboratories.  “Mix Tank 2.0 makes mixing, spraying and recordkeeping instantly easy.  We’ve made it possible for applicators to easily document products sprayed, location and weather conditions on their devices and share it with others.  No longer will applicators have to remember spraying details from a few weeks ago – they’ll have it stored in Mix Tank 2.0.”

The enhancements in Mix Tank 2.0 provide ag applicators an easy solution to track and record valuable information, all in the palm of their hand.

“What we’ve done with Mix Tank is show that we’re stewards of the ag industry,” said Rick Wohlner, president of Precision Laboratories.  “We’re committed to helping applicators obtain the best results from their crop protection inputs, whether it’s through our chemistries or our digital information technology.”

Mix Tank 2.0 is available to download for free on Google’s Android Market and Apple’s App Store.  Search for “Mix Tank” or click here and click on the iPhone or Android icon to download.
