Isagro, Gowan Form Distribution Agreement
December 17, 2013 Isagro USA and Gowan USA jointly announced today that, following Gowan Co.’s acquisition of a 49% share in BASJES Holding, a company ultimately controlling ISAGRO S.p.A., starting January 1, 2014, Gowan USA will take over the distribution of certain strategic products from Isagro USA.
The distribution agreement will initially include the following products: BADGE X2, BADGE SC, KENTAN DF, METTLE, EMINENT, TENET, SIAPTON and registration pending AFFIANCE. Isagro USA will continue to manage the registration, development and supply chain of all Isagro’s proprietary products as well as the marketing and distribution of the recent U.S. EPA approved bio-fumigant, DOMINUS and the bio-products ASSENT and BIO-TAM.
In addition, for DOMINUS, Isagro USA will have the global responsibility for development, registration, marketing, supply chain and commercialization.

About DOMINUS
DOMINUS is based on an Isagro’s patented technology and a synthetically produced biopesticide that contains the active ingredient allyl isothiocyanate (AITC), the same compound created as a natural defense by plants. U.S. EPA has classified DOMINUS as a biofumigant for pre-plant soil treatment and is a broad-spectrum product that controls soil-borne fungi, nematodes, weeds and insects. DOMINUS is the first bio-fumigant approved by the EPA created for use in conventional and organic production. It has been submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture for addition to the National Organic Program’s list of approved substances for organic crop production. The company expects NOP approval by 2015.
