Syngenta System To Attack Aphids

Syngenta Seeds, Inc. says it will soon offer the industry’s first and only fully integrated aphid management system to protect soybean crops from yield-robbing aphid infestations.

Available in the U.S. for planting in 2010, the Syngenta aphid management system leverages a native gene for resistance along with the early season disease and insect control benefits of novel seed treatment products from Syngenta, providing growers complete protection from aphid infestations. In addition, the advanced Syngenta foliar-applied insecticide portfolio is a component of the system if needed, providing additional protection under heavy late season infestations during critical stages to guard yield.
