Video: Kixor Herbicide Performance On Display

Named the 2010 No-Till Farmer herbicide of the year, the control of Kixor herbicide technology on glyphosate-resistant marestail was recently demonstrated in this video from the field.

The video, captured in Louisiana, compares the success of herbicides on glyphosate-resistant marestail, including plots treated with tank mixes containing Sharpen or Verdict herbicides. Of the plots treated with Sharpen or Verdict, each showed total kill of all weeds — including glyphosate-resistant marestail — just 17 days after application. A plot sprayed by glyphosate alone, meanwhile, confirms that resistance is a growing problem.
