SFP Announces New Executive Leadership

SFP announces its next generation of executive leadership to manage product portfolio expansions, continued sales growth and the increasing number of employees hired to support sales, marketing and corporate initiatives, both domestically and internationally.

J. Larry Sanders, Ph.D., will remain in his current position as President and CEO. His responsibilities include new product development, research and management of all company enterprises. Prior to co-founding SFP, Sanders held positions at American Plant Food and the Potash & Phosphate Institute.

John Hardy, co-founder of SFP, has been named chief operating officer (COO) and general counsel. In his new role, Hardy’s responsibilities include overseeing the structure and viability of company ventures in order to ensure all operations are efficient and effective. His primary responsibilities include directing, organizing and controlling all organizational plans while providing legal counsel on company matters. Hardy reports to the CEO, COO and EVP. He previously held the role of associate general counsel.

Dave Schwartz has been promoted to vice president of sales and business development. Schwartz’s role is to drive the growth of the company, execute sales strategies aligned with company goals and objectives and develop new business. He reports to the CEO, COO and EVP. Schwartz previously held the role of national products manager.
