Ostara Appoints John Guglielmi To Lead Crystal Green Fertilizer Sales
June 20, 2013 Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies Inc., a clean water company that recovers phosphorus and nitrogen from municipal and industrial wastewater streams and transforms them into a premium, slow-release fertilizer, has appointed John Guglielmi as senior vice president, fertilizer sales.

Guglielmi has over 20 years of wholesale and retail fertilizer sales and marketing in the production of agriculture, professional turf and ornamental horticulture markets. In his former roles as director of sales and marketing for The Andersons Plant Nutrient Group, Southern Region and as national sales director for Applied Solutions and Technology, a business unit of Douglass Fertilizer and Chemical, he established distribution chains, managed key account relationships and has built and developed sales teams. Guglielmi is both a certified crop advisor and a certified turfgrass professional.
