Midwest Companies Announce Fertilizer Formulation Agreement

A reliable supply of high quality ammonium thiosulphate (ATS) will soon be available to ag producers throughout the Upper Midwest as a result of a long-term agreement between Nebraska-based Kugler Co. and Wisconsin-based Hydrite Chemical Co.

Initially, the focus will be on the manufacturing and distribution of ATS, a basic component of fertilizer products for agriculture and turf use. ATS will be marketed to fertilizer dealers and applicators across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Indiana.

Kugler Co. has developed a proprietary manufacturing process for ATS that it has used in its market-leading liquid fertilizer products for more than 25 years.
