CTIC To Host Nutrient Efficiency Session At Commodity Classic

Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) will host a Learning Center Session on improving nutrient efficiency and increasing crop production at the 2013 Commodity Classic in Kissimmee, FL, on March 1, 2013.

Partners from the Indian Creek watershed in Livingston County, IL, will share their insight on demonstration projects ranging from nutrient use efficiency plots to strip-till. The session will also highlight how the community engages in conservation through CTIC’s Indian Creek Watershed Project.

Speakers will include John Traub, a farmer from the Indian Creek watershed; Ron Olson, North American country agronomist, The Mosaic Co.; Dr. Rob Zemenchik, North American marketing manager, Case IH Crop Production Products; and Karen Scanlon, executive director, CTIC.
