Bayer Names New Marketing Vice President

Bayer CropScience has named David Hollinrake Vice President of Agricultural Commercial Operations (ACO) Marketing for the U.S. In this role, he is responsible for strategy development and execution for the ACO marketing organization and serves as a member of the North American Leadership Team.

“David brings extensive leadership experience in both marketing and sales disciplines to Bayer CropScience,” said Jim Blome, President/CEO of Bayer CropScience North America. “He has spent the majority of his career in agricultural and related industries, and this combination of experiences is crucial in taking our business to the next level as we work on propelling the future of farming.”

Hollinrake most recently served as Vice President of Business Development for Adayana, Inc., a training-development and consulting company where he provided strategic direction to support clients in the food, agriculture, and healthcare industries. Prior to Adayana, Hollinrake was the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy for Solae — a joint venture between DuPont and Bunge Ltd. He also worked at Monsanto for 13 years where he held a variety of leadership roles including Crop Protection Marketing Lead and Roundup Brand Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Sales Representative.

Hollinrake holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois. He is based in Bayer CropScience’s RTP headquarters office.
