Bayer CropScience Appoints New Chairman

Sandra E. Peterson, current head of Bayer’s Medical Care Division, will join Bayer CropScience AG’s Board of Management on July 1. Peterson will step in to replace current Chairman Dr. Friedrich Berschauer, who will retire Oct. 1. Peterson will be replaced by Alan Main, current Head of the Europe Region in Bayer HealthCare”s Consumer Care Division.

Achim Noack will join the company’s Board of Management effective June 1. He will succeed Dr. Wolfgang Welter as head of Industrial Operations & Quality, Health, Safety and Environment on Oct. 1. Welter will retire Sept. 30. Noack will be succeeded as Managing Director of Bayer Technology Services GmbH by Dr. Dirk Van Meirvenne, current head of Production and Technology Isocyanates at Bayer Material Science AG.
