Arysta Adds To Sales Force
December 5, 2014 Arysta LifeScience North America recently named John Holowid as its new Territory Sales Manager for the Northeast Region. In this position, he will focus on the company’s fungicide business in specialty crops throughout key market areas in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Viriginia.
“John has nearly 30 years in agricultural business, with extensive experience in sales as well as field research and development for ag chemical products,” said Shan Brooks, Regional Sales Manager – South/East/West, Arysta LifeScience. “He has a solid reputation in the northeast, where he has spent his career working in the crop protection business, helping distributors, retailers and extension agents help growers.”
Previously, Holowid worked as the eastern territory sales manager for Decco. He also has been with Rohm and Haas Company, where he worked in technical sales support.
Holowid earned a degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh and his master’s degree in plant and soil science from the University of Tennessee. He will office out of his home in Meadville, PA.
