RoGator 2010 Wins MAGIE ShowStopper
AGCO Corp. captured the annual ShowStopper Award for 2009 with its new RoGator for 2010 at the Midwest AG Industries Exposition (MAGIE), held last week in Bloomington, IL. Co-sponsored by the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association and CropLife IRON magazine, the ShowStopper is awarded to the product exhibited at the trade show that garners the most attention or “buzz” from attendees.
Based upon unofficial numbers, approximately 30 percent of this year’s 2,178 MAGIE visitors test drove or sat in the cab of the RoGator 1184 being exhibited at the AGCO booth during the two-day event.
“We are delighted to be acknowledged as the 2009 MAGIE ShowStopper,” said Mark Sharitz, director of marketing for AGCO, accepting the trophy. “There were many hours of work put in by our staff to bring this new RoGator to the market, and it’s great that these people are being recognized for their efforts.”
