Willowood USA Adds Northern Plains Account Manager

Willowood USA has hired a new Regional Account Manager in its newly created Northern Plains geography.

“The Willowood USA team is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Jeff Stachler as our Northern Plains Regional Account Manager,” said Andy King, Willowood USA’s National Sales Manager. “Jeff is filling a much needed hole in our organization and we are gratified by having a person of his caliber join our organization.”

Dr. Stachler has a vast array of field experience in the ag chem industry. Originally from West Central Ohio, Jeff completed his B.S. Degree in Agronomy from The Ohio State University before continuing his education at Michigan State University. After receiving his M.S. Degree in Crop/Weed Science from Michigan State, Jeff went on to complete this PhD. in crop/weed science at Ohio State. Most recently, Jeff served in the role of Extension Agronomist-Sugarbeet/Weed Science and Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota where he has been since 2008.

Dr. Stachler has authored or co-authored numerous publications in the areas of weed identification, and resistance management. “Jeff is considered by many as an expert in the area of weed resistance management,” King said. “Adding a person of Jeff’s caliber to our account management team will not only strengthen our entire sales organization but will also provide growers in the Northern Plains geography a ‘go to guy’ for dealing with the ever present and growing weed resistance issue.”

Dr. Stachler’s new title at Willowood USA will be that of Northern Plains Regional Account Manager covering the States of North and South Dakota as well as the State of Minnesota. “We look forward to welcoming Jeff and his family to the Willowood family beginning April 1,” King said.

Dr. Stachler will remain based in Kindred, ND.
