Gehl Named Official Equipment Sponsor For Grand Prix Race
Gehl equipment will be deployed in both building the race course and removing any crashed or disabled vehicles during the Apr. 19-21 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, CA.
Manitou Americas, Inc., based in West Bend, WI, a manufacturer of compact equipment under the Gehl, Manitou and Mustang brands for construction and agricultural markets, will be the “Official Construction Equipment” sponsor for the 21th straight year at the April 19-21, 2013 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, CA.
Grand Prix race course construction crews will use Gehl equipment to help move and position the 1,800 concrete dividers necessary to build the 1.97-mile street circuit.
During race weekend, Gehl equipment will be involved in removing any crashed or disabled cars from the race circuit.
The Gehl brand has been in existence for over 154 years and is distributed world-wide. The Gehl brand includes skid loaders, telescopic handlers, articulated loaders, compact excavators, compact track loaders and asphalt pavers.
