BRANDT, a leading manufacturer of agricultural specialty products, has announced a strategic hire to lead its efforts in Asia Pacific. David Sincock has been appointed Senior Business Manager for Asia Pacific, charged with capitalizing on growth opportunities.
“Even though we’ve been in Asia for more than a decade, Asia represents a significant opportunity for growth,” said Rick Brandt, CEO & President of BRANDT. “We are counting on David to help us deliver that growth.”
Sincock has extensive experience in the agricultural chemical and fertilizer industry. Having operated in the international business arena for nearly 15 years, he will focus on further expanding the BRANDT business in the Asia Pacific region.
Before joining the BRANDT team, Sincock was Business Manager of Specialty Agricultural Chemicals for Pacific Agriscience, Singapore, overseeing the development and growth of the Specialty Business division. Previously, Sincock held executive positions at Miller Chemical & Fertilizer, Hoechst Schering AgrEvo and Pivot Agriculture. In his three years at Pacific Agriscience, Sincock provided a range of sales, management, marketing and technical functions.
“BRANDT is a highly focused and well positioned business with a commitment to long term distribution partnerships in the region,” said Sincock. “This professionalism and commitment will be pivotal to successful business partnerships in the region, helping BRANDT to make the most of the ever expanding opportunities presented by Asia.”
Sincock will be located in Australia. His email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ray Kimmel, former senior business manager for Asia Pacific, Oceanic & Caribbean, will focus solely on the Caribbean region.
“Ray has done a great job. For over 10 years, Ray has helped us build successful relationships around the world and his efforts helped identify reliable partners and open new markets for BRANDT products,” explained Ramon Georgis, BRANDT’s International business director. “But to accelerate the growth of our business, we believe it is time to have Ray focus on untapped opportunities in the Caribbean.”
“I am excited about these changes as they enhance our team going forward,” said Georgis. “Both David and Ray bring decades of experience and intimate customer knowledge that will strengthened the position of BRANDT around the globe.”
