2013 National Farm Machinery Show: The Future Of Agricultural Equipment
The future of farming came to the 48th National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. Here's a sampling of the latest agricultural equipment on display.
The E-Series Prowlers offer All-Wheel Drive mechanical drive trains, more power, more torque and virtually no loss in efficiencies to tackle rough and hilly terrain. Each E-Series model features a Tier 3 Cummins engine. The machine features a High Pressure Common Rail fuel system to increase power and reduce emissions, in addition to a wastegated turbocharger to deliver maximum power and torque. The E275 (pictured) offers 27 inches of crop clearance and a shorter wheelbase for a tighter turning radius and maneuverability. The ZF WG210 transmission features a torque converter for an easy start and smooth shifting through the gear range.
