Mahindra USA Expands Team
John Groom assumes command of the Mahindra USA sales force, while Mac Payne will transition into a newly created marketing role.

Mahindra USA has named John Grooms Director of Sales and Business Planning. He joins MUSA with a background of 16 years in tractor sales, engineering, and technical maintenance, most recently with Kubota Tractor Corp. At Mahindra USA, Grooms will be responsible for sales and business planning.
At Kubota Tractor Corp. as a Region District Sales Manager, Grooms was responsible for managing a group of Regional Sales Managers, sales forecasting and dealer product distribution for the Southeast region. Within this leadership role, Grooms demonstrated sales excellence and received the 2011 Top District Sales Manager award at Kubota. He also worked for Kubota as a Regional Sales Manager where he received the 2010 Top Retail Salesman of the year award. In this role, he managed a sales territory of 22 dealers, along with new dealer recruiting and, training. His strong sales experience also includes managing dealer floor plan levels, inventory management and assisting targeted group advertising coordination.

With the addition of Grooms, Mac Payne will transition into the newly added role of Director of Product and Dealer Channel Development for Mahindra USA. Payne will be responsible for product development, planning, dealer and sales training to support our growing Mahindra dealer network. Payne has been with Mahindra USA for two years, most recently as Director of Sales.
