CP Products says its floater turbo nozzles are the most versatile floater nozzle available, with 24 possible combinations of volume and droplet ranges. They feature eight orifices each, in two volume versions: High Volume (flood tip equivalent of #5 to #60) for 60-inch centers or Low Volume (#2.5 to #30) for 30-inch centers. Their stainless deflector tips cover specific orifices for standard flow rates but may also be used to alter droplet sizes.

CP Sprayer Turbo Nozzles, CP Products

CP Products

CP Sprayer Turbo Nozzles have unrivaled drift control and versatility, says the company. Combined, their six orifices plus three deflector tips give 18 combinations of flow rates and droplet sizes. At 40 psi, the low volume version goes from 0.15 to 0.60 gpm. The standard version has flow rates from 0.30 gpm to 1.0 gpm; the high volume version ranges from 1 to 3.3 gpm.

TurboDrop Dual Fan, Greenleaf Technologies

TurboDrop Dual Fan, Greenleaf Technologies

The recently released TurboDrop Asymmetric Dual Fan nozzle (TADF) is designed to improve coverage of contact chemicals on vertical and angular targets. The 50 degree rearward spray of the TADF is designed to overcome the force of a sprayer’s travel speed and improve backside coverage. The 10 degree forward spray provides a combination of penetration and frontside coverage. This nozzle has been used extensively to fight glyphosate resistant weeds. Plus, it fits most other applications as well, from burndown and pre-emerge work to fungicide, insecticide and defoliation applications.

TurboDrop XL, Greenleaf Technologies

TurboDrop XL, Greenleaf Technologies

The TurboDrop XL (TDXL) is designed to produce coarse to medium droplets at the widest pressure range, for a unique combination of drift control, penetration and coverage. Its modular design is unique, allowing for easy maintenance as well as changing of the spray pattern. Introduced in 1998, the TDXL is Greenleaf’s most popular nozzle, and the company says it’s the most proven air injection nozzle on the market.

GuardianAIR Twin, Hypro

Hypro GuardianAIR

The GuardianAIR Twin spray tip has an engineered spray pattern that provides an air-filled medium droplet with a high droplet count for coverage. Its twin spray rearward-inclined pattern provides more uniform coverage over a wide operating pressure capability, making the tip ideal for high-coverage application of post-emerge plant health protectants.

Ultra Lo-Drift, Hypro

Hypro Ultra Lo-Drift

The Ultra Lo-Drift spray tip has large air-centered droplets that provide superior resistance to drift. It also provides good coverage on weed foliage, making the tip ideal for pre- and post-emerge application of systemic herbicides.

IDKT Twin Flat Spray Air Induction, Lechler

Lechler IDKT

Lechler has added two sizes to its family of IDKT Twin Flat Spray Air Induction Nozzles — 015 and 06 — to complement those already in the line: 02, 025, 03, 04 and 05. The IDK-Twin Flat Spray drift-reduction nozzle is designed to provide excellent coverage in dense foliage. It is ISO color-coded and creates a 120 degree pattern with 30 degree front and rearward fans. The nozzles are available in POM or ceramic, with removable cores for easy maintenance. They have a working pressure range of 15 to 90 psi, yielding very coarse to medium droplets with a very low drift potential.

FD Liquid Fertilizing Nozzles, Lechler

Lechler FD

Now available in 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 10, 15 and 20 sizes, the one piece FD nozzle is designed for liquid fertilizer application. It yields coarse to extremely coarse droplets across its recommended pressure range of 20 to 60 psi. The nozzle creates a 130 degree flood pattern and is made of POM with a removable orifice for cleaning.

AI3070 Air Induction Dual Flat Spray Tip, TeeJet Technologies

TeeJet AI3070

The new AI3070 spray tip utilizes a patent-pending design that provides two spray patterns at angles of 30 degrees forward and 70 degrees rearward. The leading pattern provides good penetration into the foliage while the trailing pattern provides thorough coverage of the upper crop canopy and grain head. The AI3070 incorporates air induction technology to minimize spray drift, while producing a large percentage of droplets in the medium to coarse category to maximize surface coverage. This tip is ideal for fungicide application and disease control in small grains.

Air Induction Extended Range Flat Spray, TeeJet Technologies

TeeJet AIXR

The AIXR flat spray offers excellent drift control in a simple, compact nozzle. This tip is ideal for applying drift sensitive products, such as glyphosate, across a wide range of conditions. The two-piece construction allows for easy disassembly and cleaning, and the wide operating range is ideal for increasingly popular self-propelled machines. The unique UHMWPE material provides enhanced wear-life and is resistant to highly acidic chemicals making it an ideal choice for defoliant products as well.

Combo-Jet, Wilger

Wilger Combo-Jet MR110

Wilger COMBO-JET tips have the original combined tip, cap, preorifice, and seal design for operator safety and ease of handling and storage. Four types of tips — the ER, SR, MR and DR Series — give applicators the tip with the right droplet size, drift control and coverage. An exclusive one-quarter turn Radialock cap design securely locks the tip in place.

Combo-Jet, Wilger

Wilger Combo-Jet ER80

Wilger COMBO-JET tips are available in flat fan patterns for broadcast applications and even spray patterns for banding applications with spray angles from 0 degrees to 110 degrees and flow rates from 0.05 to 6.0 gpm. Drift reduction models provide droplet size, drift control and coverage options for each application.
