Becker Underwood Welcomes New Communications Manager
Charles Whitt will focus on the Beneficial Nematodes, Inoclulants, Seed Coatings and Turf and Specialties product lines for Becker Underwood's U.S. and Mexico-based operations.

Charles Whitt has joined Becker Underwood as communications manager for the company’s U.S.- and Mexico-based operations. Whitt will focus on several product lines, including Beneficial Nematodes, Inoculants, Seed Coatings, and Turf and Specialties.
“We are excited to have Charles as part of our team,” states Charlie Hale, marketing strategy & support lead for Becker Underwood. “Over the last few years, the company has experienced tremendous growth, largely due to the development and introduction of an array of innovative new products. Included among these are a growing lineup of products that take advantage of relationships between plants and naturally-occurring microorganisms that can help improve crop performance. We strongly believe we are offering our customers the best and most cutting-edge technology available. Now we need to focus greater effort on getting that message into the marketplace. Charles and his team will accelerate our efforts to accomplish those goals.”
In his new position, Whitt will lead Becker Underwood’s U.S. and Mexico product marketing communications efforts, providing both strategic and tactical leadership in the development and execution of all aspects of the company's communications with both external and internal customers.

Previously, Whitt has worked for such iconic brands as General Electric and Caterpillar. He joins Becker Underwood from Bunting Magnetics Co. in Kansas where he was vice president, marketing and communications for the past four years. Whitt obtained his MBA from the University of Rochester and received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Missouri.
