Agrium Inc. is making some production moves because of a recent improvement in urea demand.

Agrium is in the process of restarting its Fort Saskatchewan nitrogen facility and is resuming full rates for urea production at its other Canadian facilities. CropLife eNews reported that the Fort Saskatchewan facility had shut-in production of nitrogen in the Dec. 16 issue.

The company continues to operate its phosphate and potash facilities below full rates. The Profertil nitrogen facility has been returned to production after an extended turnaround.
