The Andersons Expands Plant Nutrient Group

The Andersons, ranked No. 26 on the CropLife 100, has acquired New Eezy Gro, a supplier of specialty agricultural nutrients based in Carey, OH.

The Andersons, Inc., Maumee, OH, has completed the purchase of New Eezy Gro, Inc., a manufacturer and wholesale marketer of specialty agricultural nutrients and industrial products, with operations in Carey and Sycamore, OH.

"This opportunity is a continuation of The Andersons' strategy of investing in logical business, operational and geographic adjacencies," says CEO Mike Anderson. "We will extend the same value system of providing exceptional customer service and enjoying lasting relationships to customers in this specialty agriculture arena."

New Eezy Gro, Inc., including its Golden Eagle Product line, will be part of The Andersons Plant Nutrient Group.

New Eezy Gro was founded in 1984 and supplies liquid calcium nitrate and other specialty products to the specialty agriculture and industrial markets primarily in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

The Andersons is currently ranked No. 26 on CropLife 100 list of largest ag retailers.
